The results by the National Pilot Center | CNP with the SPGO and PPI teams
The National Pilot Center | CNP with Katherine Jaramillo Martínez and Catalina Arcila Restrepo presented the results of the closure of the Live Conveyor system together with PPI Latin America and SPGO Business Intelligence.

Live Conveyor in partnership with PPI. Real-time monitoring of the conveyor belt for informed and safe mining operations.
This initiative allowed for the on-site validation of technology geared towards intelligent monitoring of conveyor belts, integrating the capture of temperature and vibration data, alerts, analytics and real-time visualization for more informed and efficient management.
The presentation of the results confirms the value of collaboration between industry, technology and the pilot center, driving solutions for current mining challenges.
The pilot test of the sensorized conveyor belt was excellent. One of the key milestones was the performance of the system reliability KPI, based on data transmission and reception over a three-month period.
The indicator was calculated using the following formula:
% = (Valid messages received / Expected messages) × 100
The result achieved was greater than 99.5%, demonstrating high reliability in data transmission and system stability throughout the piloting process.
We thank the National Pilot Center | CNP and PPI - Precision Pulley & Idler and all the technical teams involved for contributing concrete advances for mining 4.0.
Demonstrating in the field how a Live Conveyor continuous monitoring technology is reliable, accurate and can be integrated into modern mining operations.
